ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY
PFLAG of Hutchinson was born in 2013 and has continued to this day, functioning as a support, education, and advocacy group for Hutchinson and South Central Kansas. Partnering with organizations in Reno County and throughout Kansas, we have been able to offer a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals, their allies, and their families to explore and understand one another in a community that sometimes struggled to understand them.
In 2018, PFLAG partnered with Hutchinson Salt City Pride to strengthen both organizations with the mission to carry the momentum of the Pride events to the community throughout the year.
Partnering with other local nonprofits and support services like Bright House and Positive Directions, we continue to carry out our mission of building alliances and serving the community we all call home.
